Pre-K Letter Introduction is a revised and updated version of our beloved Level K Handwriting book. Recommended for Pre-K or K4 classes, it introduces students to beginning letter formation.

The brightly-illustrated book features animals and God's creation, with short lessons to build motor skills and introduce upper and lower case manuscript letters. For teachers who have used the previous Level K book, Pre-K Letter Introduction contains many of the same lessons with a greatly expanded 24 pages of exercises to develop manual dexterity and practice the various strokes used in letter formation. After completing the exercises, students then progress to lowercase letter formation and practice, followed by upper case. There are 52 two-page lessons focusing on each letter of the alphabet in upper and lower case, with nine two-page review lessons appearing periodically through the course of the work. The book concludes with four two-page review lessons.

Fun Hands-on Activities!

I really love the new updates to this handwriting curriculum for the younger grades! I love that they are continuing to learn how to correctly form their letters, but also using those letters in part of some scripture passages. I also like that the teacher guide shares how to use the pages that have images for more than just coloring. It prompts them on drawing/adding specific things, turning it into a craft, or following specific coloring directions. The new handwriting kits are so great! They have so many fun hands-on activities to work on fine motor skills and help reinforce the correct way to form and write their letters. My kids have really enjoyed it!
