Return Policy

Defective or damaged products should be reported within 10 days for replacement.

Books in new, salable condition may be returned within 60 days of purchase, with prior approval. To receive return authorization, please call customer service at 800-447-4332.

Once a return has been received and reviewed, your account will be credited minus a 10% restocking fee. Any product returned will be eligible for credit only.

The following items are NOT eligible for return:

  • Books that have been discounted, offered as promotional, or purchased during a special sale (excluding “classroom discounts”).
  • Shrink-wrapped items that have been unwrapped.
  • Items with visible damage, writing, marks, highlighting, or strong odors.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Packages must be shipped prepaid; the cost is the responsibility of the individual making the return. We strongly suggest shipping returns via an insured and traceable carrier, such as FedEx or UPS.

Please take the time to pack items carefully and remember the three important steps in successful book shipment: keep it clean, dry and immobilized. Damaged or poorly packed boxes may be refused at time of delivery.

 † New salable condition means/includes, but is not limited to:

  • NO visible damage, writing, marks, highlighting, and/or odor.
  • Products purchased in shrink-wrap (such as Science kits and Spelling CDs) must still be in original wrapping.
