A very easy to use, easy for the student to learn method of teaching spelling. A Plus that it is biblically based.

This product does so much more than teach spelling

I taught 4th grade for 7 years and used A Reason for Spelling every year. I read the opening story for the lesson to my students on Mondays while they worked on the first part of the lesson. Then we would take a pretest. The rest of the lesson was completed during the next few days. I love that the lessons reviewed the skills I was teaching my students in Language Arts and that we could remind each other of the lessons we learned in the story we heard at the beginning of the week. Those stories are often similar to the lives of my students, and they are learning tools for life. The curriculum is easy to teach, and the students learn the words relatively easy with the different skill building pages to go along with them.

    Great Spelling Program!

This curriculum is a great spelling lesson. It has a great review of the letters and sounds in the beginning. Love that is it Bible based.
